Student and Course Registration

• Eligible students will be informed of the online student registration date / period and other details by email and through the CUHK Application Portal.
• Details – Appendix 1 (Registration period of 4 – 9 August is only applicable to applicants who become eligible by 9 August.)
• For applicants who become eligible after 9 August, separate information on V-code, registration period and other details will be provided in due course.

To facilitate your transition to university life, Learning Enhancement Officers (LEOs) from the Office of Student Affairs will host interactive online consultation sessions throughout August:

• Pre-Arrival & Living in Hong Kong Sessions (4 & 14 Aug): Essential insights into CUHK’s structure, student support services, and practical tips for living on and off campus.

• LEOs Consultation: Planning for Your University Learning Journey (17–18 Aug): Guidance on course enrollment procedures, assessment/graduation requirements, and hands-on practice with CUSIS.

• LEOs Consultation: Learning Resources @ CUHK (21 Aug): An introduction to key campus resources, including the Library, Independent Learning Centre, Office of Academic Links, and Co-op@CUHK.

In addition to LEO support, you will be assigned an Academic Advisor. The Registration and Examinations Section (RES) will email your advisor details directly to your student email account (@Link Email) after you have successfully completed student registration.

Only applicable to students who have completed online student registration procedures successfully by 21 August 2026 5:00pm.

• Students MUST activate the student visa and obtain a Landing Slip before attending any classes.
• Remember to upload your landing slip and complete the visa related information on CUSIS upon arrival.

• To safeguard your personal security, all incoming students admitted in the 2026–27 academic year and thereafter are required to complete and pass the online “Anti-Scam Awareness Quiz” on Blackboard.

• Deadline (Term 1 Intake): On or before 30 September 2026
• Deadline (Term 2 Intake): On or before 31 January 2027

Note¹: Failure to complete the quiz by your applicable deadline will result in the suspension of your CU Link Card campus access and attendance-taking functions. Read official OSA Announcement.

Note²: You can access to Blackboard only after completion of Online Student Registration.
