Accommodation
The University adopts the N-2 residence policy (i.e., a student’s normative study period minus 2 years) for international students admitted to full-time undergraduate studies at CUHK, should they wish to stay on campus. Additionally, some Colleges offer a fully residential and communal dining system.
Hostel Move-in Date for International Students
Information will be available around late June 2026.
Move-in Arrangements of Different Colleges
- Specific arrangements of the hostel move-in day are to be advised by the respective Colleges around late August 2026.

International first-year students will be arranged a hostel place by their assigned College for the academic year 2026-27. No separate application is needed for hostel in the year of admission.
